The Gallery for Purple-Instrument Enthusiasts

Amethyst Guitar Gallery started from a simple frustration: finding purple-finish instruments meant hours of scattered searching, unreliable photos, and the constant risk of “looks different in person.” We built something better.

Our Story

It began with a search for a deep-violet bass. Five marketplaces, dozens of tabs, and every listing photographed differently. One seller used warm studio lights, another shot under fluorescents, and a third relied on phone photos in direct sunlight. Comparing finishes was guesswork at best.

When the bass finally arrived, the “deep violet” leaned more blue than expected. The return process was slow, and the replacement search started all over again.

We realized the problem wasn’t the instruments. It was the shopping experience. Purple-finish buyers need standardized media, a clear shade taxonomy, and services that make the entire process more reliable. So we created Amethyst Guitar Gallery: a color-specialty retailer that treats shade accuracy as a feature, not an afterthought.

Today, every instrument in our collection is photographed under consistent, labeled lighting. Our shade taxonomy categorizes finishes from soft lavender to electric violet, with undertone notes that let you filter by the purple you actually want. And our setup-and-ship service means your instrument arrives configured to your preferences, ready for the stage or the studio.

Our Mission

Make color-driven instrument shopping reliable and enjoyable. We believe choosing a purple guitar should feel like visiting a gallery—where every piece is presented honestly, comparisons are easy, and you leave confident in your choice.
